About the store
I have been a science educator for nineteen years in the largest school district in the state of Georgia. I have primarily taught 6th grade Earth Science. In addition to teaching in the general education setting, I have taught accelerated Earth Science, Science Enrichment as well as worked extensively with ESOL and special education students. In previous years, I have chaired the grade level and grade level science department. Additionally, I have facilitated professional development at the local school level.

This interdisciplinary lesson combines astronomy and math. Students must use their knowledge of space and simple mathematic computations to determine the weight of various common classroom objects on different planetary objects in the solar system. Students should be able to draw conclusions based on the various relationships created.
