About the store
I have been a science educator for nineteen years in the largest school district in the state of Georgia. I have primarily taught 6th grade Earth Science. In addition to teaching in the general education setting, I have taught accelerated Earth Science, Science Enrichment as well as worked extensively with ESOL and special education students. In previous years, I have chaired the grade level and grade level science department. Additionally, I have facilitated professional development at the local school level.

In this activity students get a chance to apply their knowledge and understanding of paleontology to determine the relative age of rock layers and what types of conditions existed to produce them, as well as conceptualizing the use of index fossils to gleam information about Earth's geologic history.
