Teaching style
Through Projects Over Packets, I create engaging, rigorous, and student-centered resources designed to:
- Prepare students for the NYS Regents and PBAT assessments
- Support English Language Learners with bilingual scaffolds (English/Spanish), vocabulary organizers, and sentence starters

My goal is simple: to move students beyond worksheets and packets into meaningful learning experiences that build skills, confidence, and independence.

With over 25 years of experience as a secondary social studies educator, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students connect deeply with history through engaging, hands-on projects. I currently teach AP U.S. History, AP World History, and Regents-track courses in New York City, where I also contribute to school leadership in curriculum design, Regents coordination, and instructional supports for English Language Learners.
Some highlights of my professional journey include:
