Kosior Math

This is a math project that deals with decimals, percentages, estimation and real world situations. The students will create a guest list and menu for Thanksgiving. They will then "shop" using different store flyers. The students will have to compare the flyers to determine which flyer has the better deal. Once they have completed their shopping list, they will need to determine the tax on their food. Finally, the students will need to create a menu on Microsoft Word to give to their guests

This is a fraction project that can be used as a review of how to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and solve equations with fractions.

This is a cumulative project for a geometry unit. This project allows students to create a book of geometric shapes. The students have to measure shapes, write about shapes, and relate shapes to the real world.
