I am an educator with experience supporting elementary students in mastering foundational math skills aligned to state standards. I have worked with diverse learners and understand the importance of clear instruction, engaging practice, and meaningful review. My resources are designed to help students build confidence while developing the skills they need for long-term academic success.
Teaching style
My teaching style is structured, student-centered, and focused on making learning accessible for all learners. I believe students learn best when expectations are clear, practice is purposeful, and content is broken down into manageable steps. I create resources that balance rigor with support, allowing students to grow independently while still feeling successful.
Awards & shining teacher moments
Some of my proudest teaching moments come from seeing students gain confidence and independence in math. Whether it’s a student mastering a challenging concept or showing growth on assessments, those moments remind me why I create high-quality, engaging resources for the classroom. I strive to design materials that support both teachers and students in reaching their goals. I have won teacher of the year twice; 2016 in Louisiana and 2025 in Texas.
My own education history
I have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, MBA, and a Masters Degree in Education. I will always continue to expand my knowledge through professional development and hands-on classroom experience. My educational background helps me design resources that are developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned, and effective for classroom use.
