This activity requires students to really understand numbers to 100. Students will have to count forward, backwards as well as by 10's. It is like taking 100 block paper and cutting out some of the boxes. Students fill in all the missing boxes. Great activity to challenge your brighter students while still using 100 block paper with your weaker students. Also great to see how well your weaker students understand number concepts or do they just see the number pattern.

Young students need reinforcement almost immediately as they work through a variety of skills. This activity provides that immediate reinforcement. As each student gets a correct answer they get to select a piece to add to their incomplete castle. As they wait their turn they are busy building. Great to use for recognition of letters, shapes, sight words, numbers, math equations and any phonics sounds. Your student will love this activity.
Do your children ask you everyday, how many more days until Christmas? Then here is a crafty activity to help your children better understand this concept. Run off each page you will need to complete a countdown to Christmas Day. Perfect as part of your morning calendar. I also did this with my own children at home. It was a morning routine to tear off one more link.
Make this countdown chain 30-1. Run off those pages that apply to where you would like to begin. Have Fun.

Additional biographical information
I have been married for 31 years and have two wonderful children. Both grown and homeowners. Their rooms have been dismantled and made into a craft room and an office. So I am seriously hoping they will NEVER come back to live. But if they do I would take them in with open arms.
