This project is a basic covering of financial literacy, that allows students to explore purchases of their choice within limits. It is a lot of fun. My students love getting to research and dream about their futures. To do thouroughly, it should be done for about 2 weeks, but can be changed a bit to cover a shorter period of time. This is a table that can be used as a tool to convert and learn benchmark fractions or as a quiz once students are expected to know them. There are places for the model, fraction, decimal and percent. Straight -forward but very helpful and offers a good visual.
