I’m Krista, a passionate educator with over 20 years of experience in the classroom. The heart of my teaching journey has been in 2nd grade, where I spent 16 wonderful years fostering a love of learning in young minds. I’ve also served as a reading specialist and MTSS coordinator, giving me a well-rounded view of how students grow and succeed at every level. I believe that strong relationships and hands-on, engaging instruction are the keys to meaningful learning. My resources are designed to be practical, purposeful, and easy to implement! This pack has several fun December themed centers based around literacy. These centers focus on compound words, fluency pyramids, synonyms, antonyms, plurals using –s and -es, and writing. I have also added two copies of each worksheet so that printing front to back is a little easier. You can use them however you like in your classroom. Each center comes with instructions on setup and how to use them. Enjoy!

With this pack, the students will practice their fluency by reading the fluency pyramids. Remember to have them read with a good pace and to read every word out loud.
