Students solve the surface area of the shapes to put the puzzle together. The puzzle is in its solved state, so I suggest printing multiple copies and mixing the pieces for each set. There are decoy measurements and objects around the edge of the puzzle.

Students use recycled materials or create their own nets for 3 geometric solids (rectangular prism, triangular prism, and cylinder). They measure and record the dimensions and calculate the surface area and volume.
