This activity allows students to use their Fidget Spinner to review 5th grade Science skills, based on Florida Standards. Students work in groups to review topics such as organs, nature of science, energy, and forces. Hi, I use this activity in my high school resource room. Although, it can be easily adapted for upper elementary or middle school. Students follow the directions and steps in order to plan their dream vacation; from booking flights, hotels, activities, and eating. Students are given a budget and must stay as close to it as possible without going over. This activity allows students to use computer skills with basic math skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication, budgeting in a real life

This lesson teaches students how to calculate GPA and gives students an opportunity to see how their GPA is affected with each course they take. A page of notes is included along with two practice sheets. I use this activity at the beginning of each semester so students understand how important each grade is.

This is a quiz I used after a class reading of "The Black Cat". I had originally used critical thinking questions but they were far to advanced for my EC students. These questions are basic fact questions that the students should be able to answer either from memory or using the story. We also previously read "The Raven" so there is an opinion question based on both stories/poems.
