Hi there! Welcome to KT Education Solutions, formerly Growing New Scientists! I'm a former science teacher with a passion for making STEM, AI, and digital literacy accessible, engaging, and relevant for every learner. I've taught high school biology, anatomy, forensics, and algebra, and I've supported educators from kindergarten through graduate school as a department head, instructional coach, and curriculum director. I've been recognized at the district and state level and have presented at conferences across the K-12 and higher education space. Over the years, my work has grown beyond just the science classroom. I lead AI and digital literacy professional development for educators, have spearheaded educational technology initiatives at the school level, and have created self-paced AI and digital literacy curriculum now used by districts nationwide. Teaching style

I believe in empowering students to think critically, question boldly, and solve real problems, the skills that will define success in an AI-driven world. My resources are rooted in hands-on, inquiry-based learning and project-based experiences that put students in the driver's seat of their own learning. In my shop you'll find labs, simulations, case studies, and projects that build critical thinking, information literacy, data literacy, and AI awareness alongside core content knowledge. My goal is to blend rigorous, standards-aligned learning with authentic, engaging future-ready experiences.
