I copy this on card stock,cut out, add a ring and a blank card on top to write the students name. I keep them on a bulletin board with pins to hang them from. I have each letter/word in a small baggie so it is easy access. Each student has a letter or word ring. I put on letters/words the student knows and one letter/word the student doesn't know. Each time we use them I ask them what letter/word they are working on. I assess them once a week and record that. If they are ready for another
