A simple Reader's Theater script adapted from the Brown Bear book.

This sight word book contains the first 50 Fry words. This book can be copied double sided and cut in half for easy creation. Children can color each letter by using the color-by-number key on the cover. Each word contains a simple sentence where children can highlight the word. This book is ideal for kindergarteners who are learning the Fry words. They will use fine motor skills, reading, and following directions.

This bundle includes all of my picture book comprehension checks that can be used together as a class or individually for and assessment after completing the read aloud. I recommend going over the questions with students before reading the book to teach them about listening with a purpose.

A sheet for each set of 5 words for the Fry 100 words. Also included is a blank sheet for use with other word lists. There is also a rainbow writing card that can be used for a word station and for rainbow writing children's names.

Copy double sided to have a sight word book for the second 50 Fry Words. Each page has the word in bubble letters to color (the color key is on the cover), and a simple sentence to read and highlight the word.

Make sheets for kids by putting the ABC's on one side and the vowels on the other side. This sheet can be used with the Jack Hartman's Shake Rattle and Read CD with tracks 4 & 5. Singing and practicing daily at the beginning of the year will teach kids letters, sounds, and vowels.
