Use these in depth questions inspired by Lucy Calkins Columbia Reader's Workshop. They are open ended questions that can be used with ANY text Levels R-W. There are four sets of questions for each level band R-T and U-W.

Organization pages to make Conferring go smoother. Print these pages on cardstock, put them in a 3 ring binder or have them spiral bound. Then you can lay out your entire class (up to 24 students) in front of you at the same time. Has been such a useful tool to me while teaching Columbia Reader's Workshop. Hopefully it will help you too!
