This is a 1 page overview for a class that will discuss the Olympics or other sports and the athletes that compete, their food and the weather. After that is the description of an assessment for the unit: a podcast that will presented to the class in pairs; a rubric and a worksheet for the rest of the class to fill in as the podcasts are underway.

This product includes two different logic puzzles that require students to read and understand in Spanish "He/she is from..." and "They are from..." It's a sneaky way to help them learn while they have fun, with a communicative purpose - to solve the logic puzzle! One puzzle is for Spanish-speaking singers, and one for actors. The first page is a review of "¿Cómo estás?.

This is a one page resource that includes a letter for students to read about stress in large cities versus small towns. The letter is in the present tense but includes a lot of vocabulary around managing stress. The letter is followed by 6 True/False questions and an open-ended question. Level is Intermediate Low. This could fill an entire 50 minute class if you started with vocab introduction and practice, used the resource and then added an extension activity.

This product is for a pair of students to ask questions about the time of classes and events at a festival to complete their copy of the schedule. Then together they can answer the comprehension questions that follow.
