Teaching style

I teach the way I wish someone had taught me โ€” with high expectations, real-world connections, and the understanding that every student walks into the classroom carrying a whole life with them. My resources are built around three principles: 1. Rigor without rigidity. Every resource is aligned to the College Board CED and designed to prepare students for the AP exam โ€” but I believe exam prep should feel like critical thinking, not memorization drills. You'll find analysis, discussion, and application woven into everything I create. 2. Current and connected. Government isn't something that happened 200 years ago โ€” it's happening right now. My materials connect foundational concepts to what's actually going on in U.S. politics today so students see why this content matters to their lives. 3. Ready when you are. I know what it's like to have 30 minutes to prep for tomorrow's lesson. Every resource includes speaker notes, answer keys, and clear instructions so you can teach with confidence โ€” even if you just downloaded it five minutes ago. I don't do busy work. I don't do fluff. I create resources that make students think, and that make your job a little easier. That's teaching con ganas.
