This is a fun fractions activity to do with your kiddos. Each student gets 12 M&Ms. They first have to graph their M&Ms on a bar graph. Then they fill in sections on a circle to represent how many of each color they have. Students then complete sentences about what fraction they have of each color. It's an easy activity, and the kids LOVE it!

During the Independent Practice group of my Math Rotations, my students used a number cube (dice) to find the two factors. Once they roll their two factors, they then find the product. It's an easy, no-prep game, and my kids love it! Quizzes/Worksheets: There are two different versions of the Fact F

This is a system I created to use in my own classroom. Just print, cut, and laminate and you're good to go! The Green Group starts on green each day and works their way (clockwise) through the word M.A.T.H., the purple group starts on purple, and so on. It's an easy way to manage groups, allows students to visualize where they should be, and you can change up groups in less than a minute. (See my Reading Version in my TpT store!)v

Teaching style

Sing…sing…and sing some more! I love fun and upbeat classrooms, so we turn just about everything we learn into a song [and often a dance!]

Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Brenau University (2010) Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from North Georgia University [formerly Gainesville State College] (2009)

Additional biographical information

I love crafts and pretty things almost as much as I love teaching, so being able to make pretty things to use in my classroom is a win-win for me! All of my products were designed with my own class in mind and are materials that I use with my students.
