About the store

Experience

Hey, I'm Jacqueline! I was a secondary science teacher in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada when I started making resources for TpT. Creating these reignited my love for graphic design, and I decided to go back to school to pursue this passion. I am now employed as a graphic designer, but my teaching background is still a big part of who I am.

Teaching style

The goal of my store is to create resources that are engaging and aesthetically pleasing. There was nothing I disliked more as a student than plain powerpoints and having to write notes on loose leaf paper. So I try to create my own resources that are a bit more fun to fill out! I also try to focus on understanding; I don't think memorization is learning, so I try to create my notes around developing an understanding for topics rather than just memorizing information.

My own education history

I earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education with a major in general sciences and a minor in French as a second language from the University of Alberta in 2016. I went back to school in 2023 for graphic design and graduated top of my program in 2024.

Additional biographical information

As an Albertan teacher, my resources follow the Alberta curriculum, however I also sell each topic individually so teachers around the world can pick and choose the resources needed to build their own units. Please check back often for new products :)
