Teaching style

Since most of my experience is in an after-school setting, I've learned to steer away from paper worksheets. I try to bring the worksheet to life! By developing hands-on activities that cover the concept/skill on the worksheet, the students are engaging more than their minds and the learning is deeper.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My own education history

I am a graduate of Ohio State University, class of 2009. I earned my B.A. in psychology.

Additional biographical information

I love working with children! I look to engage and challenge students academically but most important, I feel, is their emotional development. Students knowing they have "it" within themselves to conquer any challenge they'll face in life! I treasure the opportunity to plant the seeds that will help them become successful adults.
