This is a quick and easy practice activity for students who are working to understand the text of the Declaration of Independence. I found it helpful with those students who struggle with the text. This can be used for an Interactive Notebook activity by cutting and pasting the pages to complete the translate or as a digital activity where students move the blocks to the appropriate spot on the page to represent the text.
This set includes 6 one-page Readings with 4 -7 multiple choice comprehension questions. The texts in this set summarize the (1) Extent of the Byzantine Empire, (2) The Impact of Constantine I, (3) Byzantine as a Continuation of the Roman Empire, (4) Key Figures of Byzantine, (5) The Causes of the Decline of the Byzantine Empire and the (6)Religious Schism.
