I taught 3rd grade for three years.
I taught 3 years at a school that was an out of district placement for behavioral students (ED). During this time I taught math to the middle and high school students.
Since 2013, I've been back in the public school, teaching 7th grade Special Education Math as well as providing instruction as a co-teacher in an in-class support setting.

Multiplying Binomials- FOIL
FOIL method is a popular mnemonic device used to help students multiply binomials. I have provided cut-outs to create a flip chart to assist students with the FOIL process. It guides them through the steps while also giving them an example. It is an excellent visual for all students. I also use this as an accommodation for my special education students during certain tests and quizzes.
I have included the way I set this flip-chart up so you can see how to put it together.
