I am an ESL and Bilingual educator with experience supporting multilingual learners across elementary grade levels. My work focuses on language development, literacy, intervention systems, newcomer support, and academic success for emergent bilingual students. Through classroom teaching, intervention services, and collaboration with educators, I have worked to bridge research and practice by creating resources that are practical, effective, and immediately usable in real classrooms. My goal is to help teachers make informed instructional decisions while ensuring every multilingual learner has access to meaningful learning opportunities.

I am an ESL and Bilingual educator with experience supporting multilingual learners across elementary grade levels. My work focuses on language development, literacy, intervention systems, newcomer support, and academic success for emergent bilingual students. Through classroom teaching, intervention services, and collaboration with educators, I have worked to bridge research and practice by creating resources that are practical, effective, and immediately usable in real classrooms. My goal is to help teachers make informed instructional decisions while ensuring every multilingual learner has access to meaningful learning opportunities.

Teaching style

My teaching philosophy is grounded in language development, student belonging, and high expectations for all learners. I believe multilingual students thrive when educators leverage their strengths, build on their existing linguistic knowledge, and provide intentional opportunities for academic language growth. Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my most meaningful professional accomplishments include supporting multilingual learners in reaching language proficiency goals, collaborating with educators to strengthen instructional practices, and contributing to professional learning focused on bilingual and multilingual education. The greatest reward has been helping students build confidence in their language abilities while creating classroom environments where they feel valued, capable, and successful.
