About the store

Experience

I bring over 15 years of elementary teaching experience across a wide range of classrooms and cultures. I have taught PreK through 6th grade and all core subject areas, working with diverse learners in the United States and internationally. My teaching journey has taken me to classrooms in Bolivia, Mexico, South Korea, Virginia and the Washington DC area, and Washington State, where I have had the privilege of supporting students from many different backgrounds and learning styles.

Teaching style

My teaching style focuses on engaging, student-centered learning that supports language development, creativity, and confidence. I believe students learn best when lessons are clear, interactive, and accessible, especially for multilingual learners. Many of the resources I create emphasize visual learning, vocabulary support, and foundational literacy skills to help students feel successful while building strong academic foundations.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my most meaningful moments as a teacher have come from watching students grow in confidence and curiosity. Whether helping a multilingual learner read their first book independently, supporting a gifted student explore deeper thinking, or creating inclusive lessons that reach every child, these experiences have shaped the way I design resources. Seeing students light up when learning finally “clicks” is the reason I continue to create and share educational materials.

My own education history

I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. I also earned a minor in Spanish and piano, which have both influenced my appreciation for language learning and creativity in the classroom. In addition, I hold professional endorsements in Gifted Education and Multilingual Learners, which guide my approach to supporting diverse student needs.

Additional biographical information

My multicultural background strongly influences my work as an educator. I was born in Korea, raised in Bolivia, and completed high school in Mexico, which allowed me to experience different languages and cultures from an early age. I speak English, Spanish, and Korean fluently, and I enjoy creating resources that support multilingual classrooms. While I am new to sharing my materials online, my passion for children, education, and meaningful learning experiences motivates me to create resources that I hope will help teachers and students around the world.
