About the store
I taught in a Dual Language Immersion Portuguese classroom for seven years, and absolutely loved it! I learned Portuguese as an adult and have always wished that I had learned a language as a younger child. My time in the classroom was focused on academic language, and through the games, that I created, my students also learned everyday language.

Spanish Shapes Games Printable Cards and Sentence Stems

This product is a great resource for our kiddos to learn and review shapes in Spanish. It has game cards that can be played multiple ways, Go Fish, Memory, and Old Maid (we call it the Prickly Cactus). The package includes two game sets great for differentiation, image with name, and another with the image and name on separate cards. Great for the beginning of the year when learning and reviewing shapes in Spanish. This is great for Dual Language classrooms because the game set is all in Spanish

Experience

I taught in a Dual Language Immersion Portuguese classroom for seven years, and absolutely loved it! I learned Portuguese as an adult and have always wished that I had learned a language as a younger child. My time in the classroom was focused on academic language, and through the games, that I created, my students also learned everyday language.

Teaching style

I believe that students learn best through intentional play, with a safe environment for mistakes while speaking and writing. Through play students can easily learn new vocabulary and incorporate it into their everyday lives. I also believe that every student should be given a chance to succeed to the best of their abilities, meaning that I will do all that I can to help and encourage them to succeed.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I graduated college with a degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in ESL, and Dual Language Immersion. In 2021 I was awarded teacher of the year.
