This is a packet of activities to support Els in making comparisons. It uses the song, "Everything at Once" by Lenka to show students how to make a variety of comparisons and then the lesson explains what the comparison means. It then gives students time to explore more comparisons and then to show their understanding by creating pictures to go with the words. This is a packet of pattern activities for any Kindergarten-2nd grade student to practice reading, interpreting, and extending a pattern. I created these task cards as part of my HOT Camp for Els to give them opportunities to demonstrate gifted behaviors in the area of math, specifically in extending and creating their own patterns.
