Throughout my career in education, some of my proudest moments have come from helping students grow in confidence as readers, writers, and communicators. Whether supporting multilingual learners, guiding struggling writers, mentoring students, or collaborating with educators, I have always been passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that help students feel seen, capable, and successful.
Over the years, I have contributed to curriculum development, literacy initiatives, multilingual learner support programs, family engagement projects, and district-level educational resources. I have also supported teachers and schools through educational consulting, writing, coaching, and professional learning projects focused on language development, literacy, and student-centered instruction.
Several ELD strategy classroom videos I produced in collaboration with classroom teachers, including lesson design and instructional coaching support, have been featured by the California Department of Education as exemplar resources for effective ELD instruction. I have also worked with Pearson as a trainer supporting second language development assessment systems and educator implementation.
Early in my career, I was honored to be recognized as Teacher of the Year during my student teaching internship experience, an encouragement that strengthened my passion for education and literacy instruction.
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching has always been watching students discover their voice and build confidence through language and literacy. Those everyday classroom breakthroughs, student connections, and moments of growth continue to inspire the resources I create today.
