My teaching style focuses on fostering learner autonomy, encouraging students to take ownership of their education. I am passionate about developing engaging curriculum and employing innovative and creative teaching methods to make learning stick. A key part of my approach is helping students see the larger framework, so they can understand the connections between all the information they learn.
Awards & shining teacher moments
While I'm proud of every student's success, some of my most shining moments have come from blending education with technology to make a lasting impact.
At King Saud University, I designed and built an automated Google Sheets system to process exam results and verify English exemptions for over 9,000 students and 6,000 applications annually. I'm thrilled that the system is still used today!
I developed automated Excel sheets for scheduling, planning lessons, and finding cover teachers, which streamlined administrative tasks for the entire department.
I was honored to be nominated as a member of the Al For Developing Countries Forum (AIFOD.org) in May 2025.
I am also a certified Cambridge English Speaking Examiner.

This background in project management and operations heavily influences my organized and efficient approach to creating teaching resources.
