I created a hall pass mainly geared to stop those students that ask to go to the bathroom every single day. With this card, the student has 7 opportunities during the semester or grading period that he/she is allowed to get out of class. The example might only show 6 but I've since added an extra slot. You can choose however many you want. After each use, I punch a hole to mark inside one of the available slots. After a student has used all available slots, he/she isn't allowed out of class

I have created a booklet that has a new sketchbook challenge for students to draw each week for the entire year. This booklet is geared towards my architecture students, but it can be modified to fit your class needs. At the end of the booklet, I have placed the rubric I use to grade the challenges. Each challenge has the due date and most have examples shown. You will get access to the file on my Google Drive. You may make a copy and edit the file as you wish.

I write a quote or a few sentences on the board or overhead for the students to rewrite using Single Stroke Gothic Lettering for my Engineering and Architecture students. We haven't gotten to how to use the drafting tools yet so I created the guidelines for them.
