LAS DOS PROFES

I’ve spent five years teaching Spanish at all levels, from Spanish 1 to AP, and have had the pleasure of helping students at various stages of their language learning journey. Along the way, I’ve developed a passion for creating engaging, hands-on resources that bring Spanish language and culture to life. Through my experience, I've learned how to engage students of all levels and create an environment that fosters a love of learning.

My teaching style focuses on hands-on, interactive, and gamified activities that keep students engaged. I believe that learning a language should be exciting, and I aim to make each lesson a dynamic and enjoyable experience. By incorporating cultural elements and speaking practice, I strive to help students connect with the language on a deeper level while keeping them active and involved in the process.

I chose Spanish as my college major because I simply wanted to learn a new language. What started as a curiosity quickly turned into a passion, and I fell in love with the language and culture. This love for Spanish inspired me to share that same excitement with others, leading me to pursue a career in teaching. My college experience and my travel experience to countries like Argentina, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica are the foundation for my teaching journey, and it shaped the way I approach creating resources that inspire and engage students.

Las Dos Profes was born out of my own desire to create resources that would make Spanish classrooms more engaging and fun. Alongside my partner, who I met in college, we’ve built Las Dos Profes to help Spanish teachers spark the same love of the language and culture in their students. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that my resources are being used in classrooms around the world, helping students connect with Spanish in meaningful ways.
