Experience

Welcome to my shop! I have been teaching 7th grade ELA at a Title 1 school since 2021. I have taught on grade level, resource, and Honors level classes during this time. Prior to this, I worked as a substitute teacher for grades K-12 for various local districts in my county.

Teaching style

I believe every student deserves a teacher who is passionate about their subject and student success. I understand that every child learns best in slightly different ways, so I have worked hard to create meaningful materials that account for various learning needs. My goal is to provide students with an accessible but rigorous education that energizes them about learning.

Hi! I'm Katelyn, the creator of Latte Made Lessons. In addition to being a 7th grade ELA teacher, I'm a wife to a wonderful man and a mother of toddler twins! We also have a cat named Shakespeare. When I'm not spending time with my family or teaching, I enjoy trying new recipes, drinking way too much coffee, and creating valuable, beautiful resources for my fellow teachers who are short on time but want to deliver the best possible lessons to their students!
