Color-Coded Division Cards
I have used these color-coded division cards to help teach and practice traditional long division. They help slow down students as they work and in my experience are more helpful than a mnemonic device. They practice their work on graph paper to keep their numbers lined up. As students master traditional long division, I wean them off the color-coding.
