At the conclusion of our United States study, students chose and researched a Natural Disaster. They research the general disaster, as well as a specific event in history. They were able to use their research skills and learn about disasters, how to prepare, what causes the disaster, and how the people and land can and are effected. At the conclusion of the project, students used Prezi to present their research.

This is an educational take on the card game of spoons. It can be used as a culminating review of the 50 states and capitals. Cards Include state, capital, region, and facts. To win each round students must have 4 "matching" cards. For example, Florida, Tallahassee, Southeast, The Sunshine State, etc.
