A handout to guide students as they take notes on each of 6 parent functions: Quadratic, Linear, Exponential, Rational, Square Root and Absolute Value. Each function has a space to describe its name, intercepts, domain and range, symmetry, end behavior, increasing and decreasing behavior, a table of values and a graph. A Word document version is provided so you can adapt this handout to suit your needs.

A notes sheet for students to fill out as the topic is introduced. It should be a good reference for them later.
