Used for the 7th Grade Social Studies course in Georgia. This activity focuses on major vocabulary terms that students will see on assessments and throughout course resources used. Standards Utilized: SS7H2 Analyze continuity and change in Southwest Asia (Middle East). This is a tiered level four-square vocabulary activity (graphic organizer) for gifted/advanced, on-level and MTSS supported students with various tasks and activities for them to complete.

This activity is for use with the Dollar Street website by Gap Minder. This allows students to view and analyze standard of living from areas in Africa and Asia that are studied in 7th Grade Social Studies in the state of Georgia but can be edited to include other regions in the world. This also includes a comparison with families in the United States. There is a research portion for the regions, a comparison activity and a writing prompt for students.
