Welcome to my Teachers Pay Teachers store! I’m Laurie, a current literacy coach and retired 1st-grade teacher with 30+ years of experience teaching K-5. I graduated from Ball State University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and earned my Master’s from Indiana University Southeast in 1999. I specialize in creating engaging educational videos, interactive slides, worksheets, and other classroom materials designed to captivate young learners and make teaching easier. Teaching style

I believe every student can learn and deserves to feel safe, loved, and excited to come to school each day. My teaching style emphasizes hands-on learning, exploration, and fostering curiosity, all rooted in the Science of Reading and research-based practices.
