About the store
We are fully certified and credential Primary, Middle and High School teaching couple who love our jobs! One of us also just recently received their administrators license.
We have taught in remote locations from Peru, to Spain, to Somalia, and even the beautiful islands of American Samoa, China and SF Bay Area.
We have chaired accreditation teams for both WASC and NEASC Accreditation Teams. We have spent many long hours working on curriculum alignments within schools, both vertically and horizontally. You will see this influence in my product as units are aligned to CCSS, guided, and easy to adapt.
Most of our experience has been working with ESL students from diverse areas. We consider ourselves to be practical educators who love the planning and preparation of lessons.

Teaching style
Many of our English Units are completely self-contained. Whenever you order one of those complete units you can be assured that everything you need to teach that book or collection of stories will be included.
We teach for the goal of creating self-directed and independent learners who no longer dread literature or reading on their own. Our models are best used when proper routines and expectations for group accountability has already been established.
We love using visuals, group activities, close reading, Socratic seminars, as well as binder control.
