Students match cards with equal products. Learning goal: when you double one factor and half the other, it equals the same value. For example: 2 x 6 is the same amount as 4 x 3. (Double of 2 is 4 ; half of 6 is 3; both equal 12) Promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and number sense! This rule can be used to help students increase their multiplication fact fluency!
