I have taught writing, visual arts, art history, and design history. I have taught most age groups from preschool to adult. My MA thesis was on the intersection of art and science, and I taught art history classes integrated with math and English subject areas. I've also been a professional writer for over a decade and work as a brand strategist in marketing. I currently run leaf, STEM, stART as a way to connect art and science with outdoor learning.

I hope you enjoy the Tulips in a Vase Craft. It includes a template and instructions. You can find an instructional video on my Instagram page as well. This craft is great for Mother's Day, Easter, and for learning about flowers. It's an easy way to use watercolors with beautiful effects since they are applied on top of construction paper.

Washi Tape Frames Craft
This free download is for a Washi Tape Frames Craft. It works great for Mother's Day, but it can be used at any time of year. To complete this craft, just cover the lines with washi tape to create mats over each box. Then draw outlines to make frames in black marker or Sharpie. Fill each frame with the pictures of your choice. I love the look of simple drawings in black marker with intricate patterns in washi tape, but you can use holiday-themed tape and photographs or any other combo your stude
