This worksheet can be used with a reading passage to find the main idea and three key details that support the main idea. I have been using this with my students who were struggling to pull the main idea out of a passage.

This is a simple, no frills Inference worksheet. It has an easy to understand definition of inference. On one side students can write direct quotes from a passage. On the other side students can write what they infer from the quote.
