This was designed as a review activity and assessment for beginning of year third graders, but can be used for students just learning to make written predictions and defend their responses.

This graphic organizer helps your students clearly and concisely summarize short stories and chapters of longer books. It separates each section, reviewing essential vocabulary while including helpful hints to help students summarize the story successfully. Includes tips for writing good summaries, and includes instruction on how to transcribe the organizer content into a paragraph with full sentences.

Alphabetical order practice that can be an activity, pretest, or assessment as needed. Designed for third grade review, but can be used in other grades depending on the level of the student.
