This tool has been so helpful when connecting with parents for classroom involvement. Depending on the class size, I ask for a little more to make the numbers even. You have 17 students, ask for 20. I then ask for 2 families each to provide 10 items of one category of their choice. This also encourages parents to volunteer without feeling pressured. You can easily add more or less snack options depending on what you desire for your students.
