Teaching style

I love engaging hands on activities and projects. I challenge my students to think outside the box by using enrichment activities and projects. I have a passion for children who struggle with reading and spelling, I'm creative and enjoy designing new games and activities for all learners, and I'm determined to be a voice of advocacy for parents and children who need their voice heard.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was chosen to be apart of a team to speak at Region 13's Educational Conference in Austin and Houston and presented "Keys to a Successful School".

My own education history

I graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake in December 2003. I hold a Nebraska Educator’s permit in Special Education Generalist ( K-6th) and a Texas Educator’s certificate in Elementary Education Generalist ( EC-4th) with a special education endorsement.
