Experience

I’m a robotics software engineer with 8+ years of industry experience and the creator of Learn As You Explore (LAYE), a platform dedicated to making robotics education engaging and accessible for students. I’ve taught robotics concepts to kids and other teachers via my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@LearnAsYouExplore

Teaching style

My teaching style is project-based and highly interactive. I believe students learn best when they’re actively creating and experimenting, so each lesson pack is designed with clear, step-by-step guidance, real-world applications, and plenty of opportunities for exploration. I break down complex coding and robotics concepts into bite-sized lessons that any student can follow - whether they’re brand new to coding or ready to take on more advanced challenges.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my proudest moments has been collaborating with educators internationally - including supporting classrooms in Jordan and El Salvador - by providing ready-to-teach robotics lessons that fit seamlessly into their teaching. I’ve also built a growing YouTube channel where my tutorials help thousands of educators and students worldwide learn robotics with confidence.

My own education history

I hold a Master’s degree in Robotics Engineering and have a strong background in both software development and applied control theory. My technical expertise allows me to design lessons that are accurate, reliable, and aligned with real-world robotics applications, while still being approachable for students.

Additional biographical information

Outside of robotics education, I’m passionate about creating resources that save teachers time while sparking excitement for STEM in the classroom. Through Learn As You Explore, I continue to expand my library of lesson packs, tutorials, and teacher support materials so educators can feel confident bringing robotics to their students.
