Learn Assess Repeat

Each corner represents a different representation where students will identify rate of change and y-intercept. One page can be used for notes and the other for practice or a check for understanding. Goal is for students to get used to identifying/calculating rate of change and y-intercept from multiple representations.

This activity provides students with specific characteristics and they have to sketch the parabola and using their knowledge of symmetry and other facts, they have to answer the question. Ex. Given the axis of symmetry is x = 3 and One root is (0, 0) The student must determine that the other root is (6,0).

Students are given a page of Linear Inequality Graphs. They must go through the Inequalities given and pick the graph that represents the solution set. They can reason through some by narrowing down using their knowledge of Dashed/Solid Line, Positive/Negative Slopes, Y-intercepts, etc. KEY included!

I Do / You Do Teaching Worksheet Teacher examples of graphing Linear Inequalities and examples for students to try. There is a checklist for each problem that students can go through to decide if the line will be dashed or solid and if they will shade above or below. There are some inequalities in standard form where they must solve for y and flip the inequality symbol.

Fall Themed Graphing Linear Equations from Slope-Intercept Form as well as some practice with graphing Points. It creates a picture of a leaf that students can color and cut out if desired.
