Hello,
My name is Marissa and I have been teaching for 6 years full time. I have experience in several grade at the elementary level. Most of my time has been spent in grade 4. I have experience in teaching a very diverse population which includes students with learning disabilities, students on the autism spectrum, English Language Learners with a variety of home languages, students from low SES and poverty, students with individual behavior plans as well as students with high social and emotional needs.
When I came into teaching it was during the switch to the Common Core Standards and there was yet to be a curriculum adopted for all subject areas. I found myself constantly making material to supplement my teaching and found Teacher Pay Teachers. Since then, I have still been making material but lost my way in selling on TpT. I have since regained my motivation and am looking forward to all the material I have to share coming up soon!

30 Weeks of 4th grade Spelling Lists, plus one bonus week.
This is a created Spelling Program of 10 words each week. The focus of the lists are a prefix, suffix, or root per week, a critical verb from Merilee Sprenger's list of words students must know for Common Core, as well as a spelling pattern. There are strategy tips on each spelling list for students to use for studying. The lists are small enough for students to cut and copy into a spelling notebook and/or take the other list home to study.

Landform Image Labeling
In this activity you can either assign the work on google classroom and students can complete it digitally, as I did. Or you can print the worksheet (color would be best for the images). This could also be a whole class assignment where you project the assignment on the board and allow students to have discussion about the images and what landform they are.

Animal Science Vocabulary Powerpoint
A powerpoint with definitions, fun facts and real animal pictures to teach animal science vocabulary words. I first gave my students words and definitions to match with partners on small pieces of paper and then we corrected the matches by viewing the powerpoint. This made it interactive and my students loved it, especially the photos!

This is a Google Slide presentation template for your students to complete as they research the resource of their choice/teacher choice. When I used this I shared it with students using Google Classroom and they each got their own copy. Students each completed their own presentation using the heading provided. A total of 6 slides.

Biome graphic organizer
A graphic organizer for the desert, tundra, and grassland biomes. My students read in their textbooks about these three biomes, we discussed the reading as a class and as del discussed the students filled in the graphic organizer. This is a great tool to keep the students engaged int heir learning and to keep them accountable for the work done in class. This organizer was used as a formative assessment on the students learning.

Describe first person point of view, list key words, compare and contrast third person omniscient and third person limited, how does point of view influence understanding, and write a paragraph from another point of view.
