Elizabeth is the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of We Get It Foundation. She founded the organization with a vision to promote inclusion, education, and acceptance within the Neurodivergent community. As Chair and CEO she is responsible for the organization overall which includes leading the organizations mission and ensuring excellence across all chapters. She is committed to maintaining and fostering positive relationships with the community and continuing to celebrate Neurodiversity. In addition to We Get It Foundation, Elizabeth is a mother of five children, all of whom are neurodivergent individuals. Currently Elizabeth is also a Special Education Advocate and Partner of LaVasse & Luther, a Special Education Advocate Educator, Professional Photographer, a Certified Mediator and Life Coach, and Professional Genealogist. Elizabeth is also the proud recipient of the 2022 Bettie Hamilton Award for Outstanding Advocacy presented by Alameda Developmental Disabilities Council and 2026 Women's History Month Honoree District 5, presented by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors.
