Hi everyone, my name is Victoria Shoesmith. I am a wife and a mom to a two-year-old. I have worked in education for over 10 years. I started as a preschool teacher right out of high school and then worked at a daycare for 11 years. During that time, I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education.
I am currently a paraprofessional at a middle school, where I have been working for the past four years. I truly enjoy helping students and supporting them in any way I can. My goal is to make a positive difference and use what I’ve learned to help students better understand their learning so they don’t grow to dislike school or learning itself.

Teaching style
My teaching style is fun, supportive, and inspiring, creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. I believe every child learns in their own unique way, and it is important to embrace those differences rather than expect all students to learn the same way. By adapting instruction and encouraging individuality, I strive to help students build confidence and enjoy the learning process. My goal is to create a positive space where students feel safe, supported, and excited to come to school, so they develop a love for learning rather than frustration or dislike toward it.
