Hi there! I’m Kaycee, a dedicated educator from Texas who is passionate about creating engaging and low-prep literacy activities for 3rd-5th graders!
With years of experience in teaching upper elementary ELA, I now focus on supporting fellow teachers by developing resources and sharing research-based, TEKS-aligned ideas.
I began my teaching journey in 2013 after earning my Master's degree in Literacy and becoming a Reading Specialist. Over the past decade, I have taught 3rd through 5th grades, specializing in ELA.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, including those who are Gifted and Talented, English Language Learners, students with 504 plans, Special Education students, and those at risk. My goal is always to address the unique needs of every learner using a variety of proven strategies.
