Counting Coins Task Cards
Posters are provided with a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and one dollar bill. The task cards offer students the opportunity to practice counting money by money analogy, coin identification and value, counting back change, adding coins, deciding if money value is appropriate and choosing the correct coins.
Detecting Parts of Speech Task Cards are composed of 36 task cards, posters, student response sheets, and answer keys. The task cards are valuable to provoking a child’s ability to identify parts of speech in a sentence. Also included is a “Just the Facts” activity by students writing his or her own sentence using the clues from the sheet provided.

Research a state using the inside of a pizza box to contain all information. A sheet is provided to collect important facts about the chosen state. To further enhance the research students can give an example of the research to place inside the pizza box. Any 3-D items are a bonus for students viewing and learning about the states.
Cereal Box Champions is researching a famous person. They will do research about the person and include important facts about the person on the handout. Enrichment opportunity is taking the information collected and placing the items found inside the cereal box. All 3-D objects are representative of extra points and students remembering more about the person given.
