Sign Out Log for Students Leaving the Classroom *editable!
Here is a great log to use for your student sign out. It can easily be edited. Room has been left to add your name, room number, and grade. Student writes name, circles where they are going (bathroom, nurse, office, other), writes the time they left, then writes the time they return. This is a great way to make your students accountable for the time they are out of your room. It's also excellent documentation for conferences, issues with behavior in the bathroom and outside of class, etc.

We are a husband and wife teaching team! Each of us has over 15 years of experience teaching. Between the two of us, our experience covers grades K through 12 and college, covering the areas of math, art, english, history, German (high school and college level).
Teaching style
Meet the needs of each student...that's what it's all about! Students need to be engaged in learning and that's what we strive for. Every moment can be a teaching and learning moment, so take advantage of those daily twists and turns. At the end of the day, that meaningful learning is what will stick with your students the most.
My own education history
We both earned our BAEs from Arizona State University and are certified teachers in Virginia, each having over 20 years of teaching experience in public schools. I am a K-8 certified teacher in both Arizona and Virginia, with a K-3 early childhood endorsement, a K-12 ESL endorsement, a K-12 reading specialist endorsement, and am also certified to teach 7-8 math. My counterpart also has a Master's degree and is a 6-12 certified teacher in Arizona, Colorado, and Virginia, with an SEI endorsement and teaching areas of English, History, and German.
Additional biographical information
